- AG Engineering awarded Best Project Delivery Award for Etisalat’s Jebel Ali Data Centre by e&
- Elevated to ‘Partner’ status, the award-winning building and infrastructure company will support e&’s efforts towards driving the Connectivity Renaissance, in line with the country’s Fourth Industrial Revolution Strategy.
AG Engineering, part of the Construction & Services sector of Al Ghurair Investment, one of the largest diversified family business groups in the UAE, has been awarded “Best Project Delivery” by e& (formerly known as Etisalat Group) as part of its Partner Recognition Ceremony. In addition to the prestigious award, AG Engineering has been elevated to “Partner” status in recognition of its commitment to e&’s vision.
The accolade recognises AG Engineering’s work on e&’s Data Centre in 2021, a mega-project valued at AED 650+ million. Committed to excellence, AG Engineering delivered the 26,000 sqm Jebel Ali campus with a 4,000 sqm white space capacity of 12.4 MW, the most sophisticated facility of its kind in the UAE. As a Datacentre specialised contractor, AG Engineering optimised design solutions through innovative and reliable design ideas including AI and IOT technologies, with the project delivered in record timelines.
AG Engineering also implemented several sustainable solutions and achieved the LEED certificate for the project. Furthermore, as a result of more than 6.5 million safe manhours, AG Engineering was awarded a Five Star in the Occupational Health & Safety Audit and the Sword of Honour recognition from the prestigious British Safety Council, one of the firsts in the Middle East’s construction industry.
As a partner, AG Engineering will play a bigger role in contributing towards the Group’s Digital Connectivity efforts across the nation, in line with the country’s 4th Industrial Revolution Strategy.
